Elliot Davis ENVISION came in second and Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP’s Summer Internship third. Other internships included CapTech Summer Internship Program, Westar Energy Program and Discover Internship Program.

Bates White is an economic consulting firm offering services to law firms and government agencies. The Summer Program is an intensive 10-week internship that provides rising seniors with an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities while making meaningful contributions to the firm. Participants receive extensive training and perform a mix of challenging and interesting quantitative and qualitative assignments. 

Vault surveyed thousands of current and former interns about their internship programs and the respondents rated their experiences in five areas: Quality of Life, Compensation & Benefits, Interview Process, Career Development and Full-time Employment Prospects.

These ratings were averaged to determine an overall score for each program. Vault’s Best Overall Internships reflect the highest-rated internship programs across the survey pool.

In addition, Vault invited more than 500 organizations to participate in the 2014 Internship Survey. They gathered survey responses both from organizations that sponsor internships and from their interns.

The internship sponsors provided Vault with descriptions of their programs, as well as details on the number of interns hired, duration of program, locations and departments in which interns are placed, and application requirements.
