The junior fellowship programme at CERN is designed for graduates from universities or higher technical institutes in a wide range of applied sciences, computing and engineering with limited or no work experience. Candidates are invited to join CERN on a paid fellowship to work in a research group. A monthly stipend and insurance are provided. The deadline is on Wednesday 1st September 2021.
At CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe.
As part of the fellowship, students are applying for a programme and not a specific job.
In order to help CERN offer you an interesting work project, it is recommended that you let the committee know how your research interests and skills relate to CERN’s diverse activities.
You can include this during the online application process form or in a separate motivation letter.
CERN will provide an employment contract for at least six months up to a maximum of 36 months. A stipend of up to CHF 6,586 per month will be provided.

Main Criteria
Candidates must be nationals of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
Candidates should provide a CV, copies of academic diplomas, letters of recommendation giving an overview of academic and professional achievements.
