Internship at Cargill in Bulgaria-Six-month Finance

Students are invited for a paid six-month Finance Internship Program of Cargill Business Service in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will become an essential part of Cargill’s European Finance organization, working closely with the finance accountants in the record to report, credit to cash and procure to pay processes.

Cargill provides food, agriculture, financial and industrial products, and services around the world. In 2014 the company established the headquarters for European shared business services center in Sofia – Cargill business services. From there they offer finance, transportation and logistics, strategic sourcing and procurement, and HR solutions to Cargill’s businesses in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Your responsibilities will include research and problem-solve supplier inquiries, analyzing aging of supplier account credits. Additionally, responsibilities will comprise of supporting the balance sheet reconciliation process and following up on exposures past due with customers. Interns will also analyze counterparties’ financials and credit/ market limits consistency between ERPs and Credit Management systems. The decision in which the team will be assigned is based on the candidate’s performance and preferences.

Main criteria

  • Upperclassmen of Bachelor’s in Finance & Accounting or Economics  are eligible to apply
  • Good skills in both written and spoken in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are required
  • Fluency in other foreign language is an advantage. As part of the application, submit your CV and a cover letter
