The First Round of the International Youth Math Challenge 2018 has opened for submissions. Use your math skills to qualify for the global final round and win certificates and prizes of up to $500! The deadline is on September 30th.
The IYMC is one of the biggest online math competition for students from all around the world. You can win awards and cash prizes worth over 500 USD, become an official IYMC ambassador in your country, or join an international network for outstanding students – all by just having a go at some math problems!
Every participant will receive certificates, and those who submit most accurate results will win cash prizes! Best participants from different world regions will join the global network of the IYMC and become ambassadors of the competition. Schools and teachers who have entered most participants, most finalists, and had many outstanding students, who achieved high results in the competition, will be awarded accordingly.
Main criteria
- Students from all grades and all countries are invited to participate! Depending on your age (over 18 years or under 18 years), you will have to solve more problems to qualify for the next round;
- To solve the problems you should be smart, open-minded, and creative;
- You should have a working internet connection to submit your solution online.
