International Conference For Student And Young Professionals From The Tourism Industry

Registration is now opened for the ISCONTOUR 2016 which will take place from 23-24 May 2016 at the IMC University of Applied Sciences, Krems in Austria. This is  tourism-related conference. Participation fee for students is 30 EUR.

ISCONTOUR was founded in 2013 by the two professors Christian Maurer (IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems) and Roman Egger (Salzburg University of Applied Sciences) in order to provide a platform where international students and graduates of Bachelor and Master degree programmes can submit and present to the public their tourism-related research papers based on approved their BA- or MA-theses (the deadline for paper submissions is already expired). Moreover, the conference aims to establish a platform of knowledge transfer and networking for students, graduates, professors, researchers and people working in the tourism industry.

Topics to be covered at the conference include but are not limited to:

  • Marketing and Management
  • Tourism Product Development & Sustainability
  • Information and Communication Technologies
  • Financing and Budgeting
  • Human Resource Management

Students, graduates, teachers and lecturers from the field of tourism and leisure management as well as companies and anyone interested in the conference topic areas are welcome to register as participants.

Early bird registration fee for students is 30 EUR, for other people 100 EUR.  Early bird registration closes on March 16.
