Young leaders with five years of professional experience are invited to apply for the non-degree 10-month programme at one of the American universities. The Humphrey fellowship will cover all the expenses for the participants. The deadline is on Sunday 31st January 2021.
The Humphrey Fellowship Programme is designed for experienced professionals interested in strengthening their leadership skills.
The fellowship offers opportunities for professional development through selected university courses, attending conferences, networking, and practical work experiences.
The program provides 10 months of non-degree academic study and related professional experiences in the United States.
Thirteen major US universities host Humphrey fellows. These host universities are chosen for their excellence in the Programme’s designated fields of study and for the resources and support they offer Humphrey Fellows.
The Humphrey Fellowship covers university tuition feeds, language training, living allowance, accident and sickness coverage, a book allowance computer subsidy, and air travel.
If your country/region appears on the list, you are eligible to apply.
The deadline is on Sunday 31st January 2021.
Main Criteria
- An undergraduate degree
- A minimum of five years of full-time, professional experience
- Limited or no prior experience in the United States
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- A record of public service in the community
- English language ability
