Mid-level professionals wishing to pursue additional training in the US are invited to apply for the Humphrey Fellowship. This ten-month long non-degree graduate-level programme allows participants to take part in professional engagements with counterparts from around the world. Participants benefit from a full scholarship. Application deadlines vary by country.
The Humphrey Fellowship Programme provides a year of professional enrichment in the United States for experienced professionals from designated countries undergoing development or political transition.
The fellowships are granted competitively to both public and private sector candidates with a commitment to public service.
The Humphrey Fellowship provides round-trip international travel, tuition and university fees, accident/sickness insurance, a monthly maintenance allowance, and a stipend for books and professional activities.
The Humphrey Fellowship Program does not provide financial support for accompanying dependents.

To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate commitment to public service and potential for advancement in their professions.
A minimum of five years of professional experience is required.
Completed a university degree program requiring at least four years of full-time study to qualify for admission to U.S. programs of graduate study.
