TU Wien is one of the major universities in Vienna, Austria. The university has received extensive international and domestic recognition in teaching as well as in research, and it is a highly esteemed partner of innovation-oriented enterprises.

Successful applicants of Helmut Veith Stipend Scholarships in Austria, 2020 will have their tuition fees covered in addition to an annual stipend of EUR 6,000.

The University will award the stipend to those who obtained an unconditional offer to the master’s program. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of computer security, foundations of artificial intelligence, computer science and complexity theory.

Grant recipients should be residing in Austria during term time while temporary interruptions/exceptions are subject to approval.

Furthermore, recipients must maintain at least 25 ECTS credits per term on average from the beginning of their master’s degree and obtain a grade average of at most 1.5.

The deadline is on 30 November 2020.

Main criteria

• The scholarship is open to outstanding female students in the field of computer science who are planning to pursue a master’s program in Computer Science at TU Wien
• Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or an equivalent degree
• Proficiency in English is required. CV, motivation letter, university transcripts, are required as part of the application
