Helen Lansdowne Resor Scholarship 2017

 The Helen Lansdowne Resor (HLR) Scholarship seeks to award five female creative students scholarships up to $10,000. In addition, each recipient will receive a paid summer internship at a J. Walter Thompson office in her respective region, an offer of a J. Walter Thompson mentor and “first look” placement consideration upon graduation. The deadline for application is May 14.

 

The HLR supports and promotes talented female creative advertising students from around the world in honor of the industry’s first female copywriter, Helen Lansdowne Resor. The Scholarship will be paid directly to the university you are attending, which means that the scholarship will fully or partially cover tuition fees.

Main criteria

  • The scholarship is designed for female candidates who are currently enrolled in undergraduate programs;
  • It is important that candidates be no less than 12 months from completion of their degrees at May 14, 2017;
  • Satisfactory academic and creative progress as well as talent and promise are among the main criteria.

In order to be considered for the scholarship, each candidate should provide an application form, a letter of motivation, and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
