Atoll Volunteers offers great 3 or 6 month internship in Maldives. Currently organisation is searching for volunteer coordinator. The position is unpaid but comes with accommodation, food and domestic transport.
The work is varied and includes different tasks such as organising individual volunteer placements, volunteer activities, community events, web-management, conflict resolution, short- and long-term planning of different projects, writing grant proposal and progress reports to international donor agencies.
The main criteria are: fluent English (writing and speaking), experience working with volunteers, professional degree in relevant field. Organisers expect a disciplined person who can manage time responsibly and keep a healthy balance between work and fun.
