Canadian government is offering a tailored program for 20 global youth leaders at the 2019 Open Government Partnership Global Summit. Successful applicants will receive funding for flights, visas, accommodation, and a daily subsistence allowance. The deadline is on 5 April 2019.
The Summit will bring together 1,750 global influencers from government, civil society, academic, media, and beyond. One of the thematic priorities of the Summit is inclusion, which includes a focus on youth empowerment.
In addition to accessing the full 2019 OGP Global Summit program on May 26 – June 1, 2019, selected participants will partake in workshops, youth networking events, and exclusive side events including Points of Contact Day, Civil Society Day, and the OGP Steering Committee meeting.
Main criteria
- be between the ages of 18 and 26;
- be a national of or live in an OGP participant country;
- be fluent in English;
- represent an organization or broader coalition/cause within your respective country
