Dear readers, you have a unique opportunity to join the event called European Innovation Labs in Budapest on 21 April, 2016 and to develop creative solutions for countering hate speech and violent extremism. The event will bring together organisations and individuals from Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia to create new, innovative campaigns and develop best practices for working more effectively against the influence of extremist messaging. Hurry up, there is only 1 day left to apply!
The event is organised by the Youth Civil Activism Network, a global initiative to support and enhance civil society efforts to counter violent extremism in all forms. Working with grassroots organisations, as well as young activists and creatives, YouthCAN enables civil society efforts to counter hate speech and violent extremism.
Main criteria:
- young activists from Hungary, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia;
- aged 18-29;
- interested in the topic of the event.
Interested candidates have to RSVP by Thursday, 7 April.
Organizers will cover the cost of travel and accommodation for participants coming from outside Budapest.
