Fully Funded Social Science Fellowship At London School of Economics

Professionals with experience in social science are invited to apply for a fellowship at the London School of Economics. Fellows will receive full coverage of all costs associated to the training. There are two modes of study that allow for full emersion or part-time attendance. The deadline is on Sunday 31st January 2021.

The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme is a funded fellowship based at the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The programme has two tracks: residential and non-residential.

Residential Fellows undertake a full-time, one-year MSc in Inequalities and Social Science at London School of Economics.

The fellowship includes full tuition fees, an £18,000 stipend to cover living costs while in London, travel costs and reimbursement of visa fees.

Non-residential fellows remain based in their home and professional environments, and travel to attend training in London.

The non-residential fellowship includes full tuition fees, a £3,000 grant to support project work, dedicated mentorship, and travel coverage for each module.

The deadline is on Sunday 31st January 2021.

Main Criteria

  • Residential applicants must qualify for admission to the London School of Economics’ MSc in Inequalities and Social Science. A background in social science and/or work experience in the social policy field are advantageous but not essential.
  • Non-residential fellows should have achieved a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent in any discipline, although in exceptional circumstances, work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal higher education qualification.
