Routes and Roots Project is a ten-day German-Russian-Ukrainian youth exchange program which will take place in picturesque Saxony on 8-18 September. The deadline to apply is on 30 June 2019.
Through workshops, excursions, discussions and projects, participants will explore each other’s cultures and intercultural understanding as well as learn about the common history.
Bonding activities will include hiking in the Saxonian Switzerland National Park, excursions around Dresden and Leipzig. Participants will stay in Saxonian Switzerland for the first week and in Liepzig for the rest of the program.
A grant of Erasmus+ will cover all costs of the meeting. A registration fee of €50 for German participants and €15 for Ukrainian/Russian participants will be refunded at the end of the project. The costs for the tickets will be refunded up to €100 for Germans, €150 for Ukrainians, €200 for European Russia, and €400 for Asian Russia.
Main criteria
- Candidates must be 18-29-year-old permanent residents of Ukraine, Russia or Germany.
Ukrainian and Russian citizens must obtain a valid passport by July 2019. Visa support will be provided.
