Youth and Sport Department of Riau Province and Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia invite young people from all over the world to join Riau International Youth Summit (RIYS) 2016. The RIYS 2016 theme is “International Youth Movement“. Participation is fully funded. Deadline to apply is November 15th.
The goals of the program are to introduce Riau as a gathering place for youths with creativity and innovative ideas and establish cooperation among the youths all over the world. Riau International Youth Summit 2016 is expected to welcome 150 participants comprised of 100 national participants and 50 international participants.
Main criteria
- Young people aged 20-30 years old from across the world;
- Must has min. graduated from Senior High School or equal institution;
- Fluent English;
- Actively involved in an organisation, a local or social project.
Accommodation, food and transportation expanses will be covered by organizers. Please note, that participant have to pay for travelling fair from their respective country to Pekanbaru.
In order to apply, fill out the application form. Each applicant must submit a max. 500 word essay in English related to the one of RIYS 2016 sub-themes. The best essay will be granted for a prize.
