Applications are invited for Zentrum Digitaleisierung.Bayern (ZD.B) Fellowships to pursue a Ph.D. programme. The application documents must be submitted in electronic form by August 31th in German or English.
The ZD.B is a research, cooperation and foundation platform in Germany that aims to further strengthen the research competence of Bavaria in the area of digitization and to increase the pace of digital developments.This is designed to support doctoral candidates and, what is more, to enable more qualified women to get into leading management positions within science, business, and society.
In principle, highly qualified candidates of all disciplines are addressed, who are offered their doctorate at a university or in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences and the University of Applied Sciences Digitization.
Main criteria
- Successful candidates should demonstrate excellent university degree or comparable state-recognized study qualification, which qualifies for a doctorate at a state Bavarian university;
- Thesis should be technically, economically or socially relevant to digitization and be designed for a period of three years.
ZD.B Fellows will receive funding for a period of generally three years to carry out their doctoral thesis. A full-time job is financed according to TV-L E13 (100%) at the Bavarian State University where the doctoral thesis will be conducted.
