European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Internship

Young people with good knowledge of English and a university degree in social sciences or a related field are invited to apply for a six-month paid internship at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Interns will conduct research and complete tasks related to human resources data. The deadline is on Wednesday 19th May 2021.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was established to help build a new, post-Cold War era in Central and Eastern Europe.

It has since played a historic role and gained unique expertise in fostering change in the region – and beyond – investing almost €150 billion in a total of more than 6,000 projects. 

The Staff Council is EBRD’s internal body for employees’ representation.

The aim of the Staff Council is to ensure staff welfare is protected and best practice in terms of employment and procedures are employed by the EBRD. 

The intern, staff council will ensure on-going integrity and accuracy of staff council internal data analyses and presentations to management and board, will enhance staff council internal and external communication profile, will draft position papers and other documentation and correspondence.

Interns will undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis of human resources data, conduct reporting and original research. 

The deadline is on Wednesday 19th May 2021.

 

Main Criteria

University degree, from a leading university, preferably in social sciences

Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and desirable to have same one of the official languages of the Bank. A working knowledge of a second language from an EBRD country of operation considered an advantage
