English Teaching Volunteering in China

Ya Li Shan Da European-Chinese Center is inviting students from around the world to apply for teaching positions in host families and language centres. Monthly stipend and accommodation are included. The application process is ongoing.

How to become an English Teaching Volunteering in China? Duties in families will include teaching a child/children English through playing and accompanying kids throughout the day.

The workload is 24 hours per week or more with additional pocket money paid.

Volunteers will get free accommodation and catering, EUR 260+ monthly stipend, Chinese language classes – HSK Mandarin Course, assistance in visa-related matters.

Flight reimbursement after successful completion of the project:

3 months – Return ticket

6 months – Round tickets

9 months – Round tickets + 1500 RMB bonus

12 months – Round Trip tickets + 2000 RMB bonus

Organisers will provide participants with various activities free of charge, such as traveling, climbing, swimming, BBQ beach parties, Chinese painting, calligraphy, etc.

Main criteria

  • Candidates should be 19-33 years old, fluent in English with at least high school diploma, although undergraduate degree is preferred. Knowledge of Chinese is not required;
  • Applicants will need to provide a medical certificate and non-criminal record from police.
