Develop Your Network With International Youth Summit In Tashkent

Uzbekistan is making its presence felt on the  stage of international events aimed at including young people into global discussions. Next spring (March 25-27), the city of Tashkent will host the country's first International Youth Summit. If you consider yourself an active youngster and you are interested in connecting with 300 passionate young people not only from Uzbekistan, but also from other parts of the world, you are invited to sign up. Deadline to apply is December 31, 2015.

Young Leaders Development Project in Uzbekistan designed International Youth Summit to take place once a year in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with general theme relevant to youth initiatives. The annual Summit will become a platform for the young people as future leaders of the world to hone their leadership, cultural, intercultural communication, and critical thinking and self-development skills. The event under the theme: ‘Our Heritage Our Future’’ will feature highly experienced speakers across the youth-related fields that will provide an extra bridge to the discussion and will contribute to the outcomes of the event. 
 
The aim of the Summit is to bring together the brightest students, youth activists, leaders in the society, entrepreneurs, professors, diplomats and businessmen to start a dialogue on building a stable, peaceful society today and tomorrow and to take concrete actions on the ways to solve the current problems. 
 
You’re eligible to apply if you are: between 18 and 27 years old, have passion to create positive social change and willingness to use Summit experience in your leadership position be active either in politics, civil society organizations, media, business sector or local communities, have a good command of written and spoken English.
 
Participation fee is €50. YLDP will take responsibility to cover participation fee, handouts, accommodation, 3 meals (full board), special events, trips and transportation. However, all international participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and associated VISA costs (if needed) to Uzbekistan.
