Co-Sponsored UNESCO Fellowships Programme In Poland

UNESCO is offering fellowship in Poland for young researchers. The forty recipients will receive grants for research in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering with all required material and financial support. Deadline to apply is April 14th.

Since its creation, UNESCO’s mission has been to contribute to building peace, eradicating poverty, and encouraging lasting development and intercultural dialogue, with education as one of the principal mechanisms to achieve these aims. For these reasons, UNESCO fellowships are offered with a view to promoting human resource capacities in the developing countries and to enhancing international understanding and friendship among nations and the people of Poland. The forty recipients will receive grants for research in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering with all required material and financial support. Fellowships are 6 months long, starting on 2 October 2017. 

The fellowships include monthly allowances of 1600 PLN (approx. 370 EUR), free tuition and access to facilities in the University of Science and Technology in Krakow, coverage of international airfare, and health insurance.

Main criteria

  • Candidates should obtain the Bachelor’s or M.Sc. degree;
  • Be proficient in reading and writing English;
  • Be a citizen of a country whose citizens are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
