Chemistry and Governance Summer Schools in the Czech Republic

University students are invited to win a scholarship to attend the summer school in Governance or Chemistry. The deadline is on 30 April 2019.

The course runs from 7 July to 6 August 2019. Each day consists of study periods at University of Pardubice, group activities including sports and field trips to castles and the Czech mountains.

Lessons in “Life in Chemistry” will be divided between chemistry, chemical technology, and material science. Smart Governance curriculum will cover economics and administration in the first two weeks, transportation and healthcare, and intercultural society in the last two weeks.

There are 28 full scholarships available. Scholarships cover study, accommodation, and meals. There is a €100 fee for registration to the Smart Governance program.

Main criteria

  • University students from all around the world who have completed one to four years of university studies are welcome to apply;
  • “Life is Chemistry” applicants must be pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or Chemical Technology.

Along with the online application, include a motivation letter on the topic of “Smart Governance” or “Life is Chemistry”.
