ChangeMakers Seed Grants for Early-Stage Ideas

Every year StartupXs launches ChangeMakers Seed Grants Opportunity with the aim to identify and promote the best early-stage business idea of innovators, startups, and social enterprises. Winners will receive $1000 in seed funding. The deadline is on 31 December 2020.

StartupXs is an online hub where startups and social enterprises grow together. It provides access to funding, events, and tools that help your startup grow and succeed. Information provided varies from tips for upgrading your fundraising strategy to resource guides with step-by-step outlines. StartupXs also provides access to online and in-house training and a database of opportunities. ChangeMakers Seed Grants support young entrepreneurs through the early stages of their company development.

The contest jury will choose and award one changemaker with a $1000 seed fund. Ideas should be submitted in the form of a business proposal with budget details. Proposal submitted to other donors, grants, or funding resources can be submitted. Proposals submitted must be created within the past five years and must be presented in a Word/PDF document of up to five pages in length. You may submit any number of proposals.

The deadline is on 31 December 2020.

 

Main criteria

Participation is open to any individual or organization in any country unless prohibited by local or the United States law. Candidates should be between 18 and 35 years of age. Submissions should be  organizations like social enterprises, for-profit companies, non-profit organizations, government agencies, international organizations, o researchers. Priority is given to early-stage and growth-stage startup or a social enterprise working in an innovative product or idea. The idea must be submitted in the form of a business proposal with budget details.
