Scholars representing the field of humanities and arts are invited to apply for a fully-funded residency that will take place over a month in Bogliasco, Italy. The deadline is on Thursday 15th April 2021.
The Bogliasco Foundation is an American non-profit that supports the Arts and Humanities. The foundation provides residential fellowships at its study centre in Italy.
The Bogliasco Foundation accepts applications from those doing both creative and scholarly work in the following fields: archaeology, architecture, classics, dance, film/video, history, landscape architecture, literature, music, philosophy, theatre, and visual arts – without regard to nationality, age, race, or gender.
Residencies at the Bogliasco Study Centre last 32 or33 days and are scheduled during the two semesters of the academic year: fall (mid-September to the third week of December) and Spring (early January to the third week of May).
Bogliasco fellowships cover room and board. However, the foundation also offers a limited number of special fellowships that often include a travel stipend.
The deadline is on Thursday 15th April 2021.
Main Criteria
The online application has five pages and consists of the application form, three reference letters, a curriculum vitae, a one-page description of the project that the applicant would pursue during her/his stay at the study centre, and three work samples of the applicant’s work that has been published, performed, exhibited, or otherwise publicly presented during the last five years.
