Eight innovative, seed stage startups will be selected to showcase to the global network of Africa-focused investors. The companies should be operating in Africa and have highly scalable solutions already in the market. The projects will be able to raise between $250, 000 and $1.5 million. The deadline is on Tuesday 24th July 2021.
VC4A Venture Showcase Seed is the sister programme of the annual VC4A Venture Showcase Series A.
As part of the program, companies get visibility with 200+ investors part of the curated VC4A investor network and interviews with the leading VC funds as part of the vetting process.
Companies will be selected based on the four main criteria: commercial value of the product, strategy for growth, management team, and market traction & financials.
Selected participants will engage with assigned mentors to work on their pitches and two-pagers with investor data.
The deadline is on Tuesday 24th July 2021.
Main Criteria
Your company is for-profit, registered as an independent legal entity with less than three years in operation. Companies should have a product or service already available on the market.
Management teams of at least two people are required.
