The film industry pays big for good animal talent which is to say well trained animals. Dogs are the most commonly used, followed by cats, even elephants and camels.
The profession doesn’t require any special qualifications except to make contacts with the movie industry, advertising agencies, the television industry in your country and the best of animal trainers and owners of superbly trained animals. The fashion modelling industry especially uses cats.
For becoming Animal Agent, you can join one of the famous agencies, or become a freelancer.
Remuneration
The agency fees can be anything from 10 to 50 percent depending upon what you negotiate with the owner of the pet. The average earnings of the pet are upwards of 400 $ per day and sometimes even goes up to 20,000 $ per day. The income can be irregular but interesting.
