The University of Twente Scholarship For Master’s Students

The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries. The award is designed for prospective master’s students. Finalists can receive funding ranging from €3,000 and €22,000 for one year. The deadline is on 1 February 2021.

Apply for The University of Twente Scholarship

The University of Twente is a public technical university located in Enschede, the Netherlands.

The UT collaborates with the Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, and the Wageningen University and Research Centre under the umbrella of 4TU and is also a partner in the European Consortium of Innovative Universities

There are approximately 50 scholarships available, each valued at up to €22,000 per academic year.

This scholarship is meant as compensation for study-related costs. It is up to the scholarship student to decide how to spend the money.

In the case of a two-year study program, students can receive an additional UTS of an amount equal to that in the first year to cover the expenses of the second year.

However, the funding will only be continued during the second year when students meet the process requirements for the UTS. Students must obtain an average grade of 7/10 at the end of the third quartile in Year 1.

Students applying for the research honours, design honours, or change leaders programmes are eligible to apply for the funding.

The deadline is on 1 February 2021.

Main Criteria

Application for the UT scholarship is a procedure separate from the application for course entry at the University of Twente.

Regardless of funding, you will need to gain an admission letter first. Previous UT students are not eligible. Candidates must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to Academic IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT of 90.
