Remote OECD Internship Programme

Current university students pursuing various degree programmes are invited to apply for a remote internship at OECD. Interns will be recruited for a period of up to 12 months. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of $700. The deadline is on Monday 1st March 2021.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international economic organisation with 37 member countries. It was founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade.

OECD internship programme is designed to bring highly qualified and motivated students with diverse backgrounds into the organisation to work on projects linked to the strategic orientations of the Secretary-General.

The majority of internships are based in Paris, France. Interns can come from any country. For internships in the corporate functions, successful candidates will be involved in audit, communications, event management, finance, information technology, or translation.

Interns will participate in the preparation of studies and documents, carry out research, participate in meetings and seminars, and contribute to the organisation of events.

The duration of the internship is for a period between one and six months. The placement is renewable for another six months up to a total of twelve months.

The OECD encourages potential interns to stay for six months in order to gain the best possible insight into work at the OECD. A contribution to living expenses of around €700 per full month worked will be granted to interns by the OECD.

The deadline is on Monday 1st March 2021.

Main Criteria

Internships are open for students who are enrolled in a full-time degree programme for the duration of the internship in a field or discipline related to the work of the OECD.

Excellent command of one of the two official languages of the OECD (English and French) is required. Knowledge of other languages used at the OECD would be an advantage.
