Young people from all over the world excapt CERN Member States and Pakistan, Cyprus, Serbia, Ukraine and Turkey are invited to apply for funded CERN Summer Studentships 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland. The event offers undergraduate and junior postgraduate students of physics, computing and engineering an opportunity to join in the day-to-day work of research teamsparticipating in experiments. Deadline to apply January 27th.
The event is good opportunity to join CERN in Geneva – getting involved in the day-to-day work of multicultural teams. Attend lectures, visit CERN facilities, take part in discussions and workshops with people who are leaders in their fields.
Main criteria
- Nationals of any state OTHER THAN CERN or Cyprus, Pakistan, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine;
- A university-level undergraduate (Bachelor or Masters) in either physics, computing or engineering;
- Did not worked at CERN before with any other status (Trainee, Technical Student, User…) for more than 3 months;
- Fluent English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
All selected participants will get travel allowence, $89 per day remuneration, assistance in finding accommodation on, or near the site of the Laboratory.
