Animal Interspecific Hybrids

Whether by human intervention or naturally, crossbreeds of different species do exist. While some are prospering comfortably, others are giving headaches to their "creators" by not meeting the expectations that the sponsors had for the new hybrids. Here is a list of some hybrid animals.

Mule (female horse, male donkey)

Zonkey (zebra/donkey)

Liger (male lion and a female tiger)

Wholphin (female common bottlenose dolphin and male false killer whale)

Zubron (a hybrid of bison and cow)

Savannah Cat (African serval cat and a domestic cat)

Dzo (yak and domestic cattle)

Zorse (zebra and horse)
