Tepper School of Business International Case Competition

Students worldwide are invited to win cash prizes of up to $5,000 at a case competition organized by the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. The competition will be held virtually on 13-14 November 2020. The deadline is on 1 November 2020.

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University offers degrees from the undergraduate through doctoral levels, in addition to executive education programs.

The institution is inviting students worldwide to the 25th Annual International Case Competition.

The competition focuses on:

  • operations,
  • supply chain,
  • sustainability,
  • and technology strategy
  • and provides an innovative learning platform for students to solve a relevant business challenge.

The ICC will be held virtually this year.

The event connects leading operational talent with multinational sponsor companies for networking and recruiting opportunities.

Teams of four to five students will sign lead sponsor Non-Disclosure Agreement & Participation Agreement which will be provided before the competition.

For the first round, a case prompt will be sent to teams 6 days before the competition.

Each team will formulate their answer and submit their slide deck for further presentations and Q&A. Finalists will receive $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000, respectively.

The deadline is on 1 November 2020.

 

Main criteria

Teams of four to five students with a limit of two teams per school are eligible to apply.

Candidates are required official school ICC invitation in order to register. Each team will give 20-minute presentations and 5-10-minute Q&A.
