Students from the Middle East and North Africa countries are invited to apply for the fully-funded Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate students programme at the American University in Cairo. Students pursuing a degree in economics, international and comparative education, nanotechnology, or migration and refugee studies will have all their expenses covered. The deadline is on Friday 1st October 2021.
Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate (TLG) students programme is a joint effort between the US Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA/AC), and American University in Cairo.
TLG offers students from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) an opportunity to pursue higher education and earn a master’s degree at the AUC in one of the following graduate programmes:
- International and Comparative Education
- Migration and Refugee Studies
The programme covers full tuition fees, medical insurance, a monthly stipend, accommodation, and a laptop.
Scholars will benefit from internship opportunities available to them and two annual round-trip air tickets.
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2. Successful completion of a gender studies graduate-level course and a TLG academic English writing course is required.
The deadline is on Friday 1st October 2021.
Nationals of the following countries are eligible: Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Yemen, and Syrian citizens residing outside of Syria
3.0/4.0 GPA and proficiency in written and spoken English are required. Candidates should possess maturity, flexibility, and leadership potential demonstrated in a combination of extracurricular activities, recommendations, and interviews.
