Citizens of ASEAN countries are invited to study in China on a full government scholarship. The funding covers accommodation, tuition fees, and insurance. The deadline is on Thursday 18th February 2021.
The Chinese Government Scholarship-AUN Program is a full scholarship established by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China for the ASEAN University Network (AUN) to sponsor graduate students, teachers, and scholars from ASEAN nations to study in China.
There are 30 scholarships offered annually. The scholarship supports master’s students for up to three academic years and doctoral students for up to four academic years.
It covers both the degree programme and Chinese language studies.
The full scholarship covers tuition fees, insurance, and accommodation in a university dormitory. Alternatively, a monthly accommodation subsidy will be provided.
Applicants must be a citizen of an ASEAN member country (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam), and be in good health.
Applicants for music studies are requested to submit their own works. Applicants for the arts programs must submit their own works which include two sketches, two colour printings and two other works.
The deadline is on Thursday 18th February 2021.
- Notarized highest diploma
- Academic transcripts
- A study plan or research proposal of at least 800 words
- Two recommendation letters from university professors
- A copy of foreigner physical examination form
- Language qualification certificate e.g. HSK Certificate, IELTS or TOFEL report
